StoryLine :
Balian, a grieving blacksmith, discovers that a Crusader knight named Godfrey is his father. Godfrey teaches him the true meaning of knighthood and brings him to Jerusalem, where a fragile peace exists between Christians and Muslims. After King Baldwin IV dies, tensions rise and war threatens the city. Balian becomes a strong leader, defending Jerusalem with courage and trying to protect innocent people. He fights not for glory, but to uphold peace and honor fulfilling the oath passed down by his father.
